There's something very melancholic about this work. I like how time creeps up on the reader. The skips are not linear, and thus it seems random. Frightening in a way. It's quite easy to let yourself fall into this narrative. I like the writing style, too.

This is absolutely brilliant, and heart-warming, and the end is a hopeful outlook. There's another story like Ink Your Name out there but it ends rather sadly. This one does not. You end the story on a cheery note. It's lovely.

Sherlock's a brat. And a bastard. Then he's adorable. Then protective. And an idiot. Mycroft claims he isn't, though.
Mycroft appears weak, which was at first rather distracting. A tad OoC one might think. Well, then he is hopeful, just to get all his hopes crushed. Then he forgives Sherlock.

I haven't seen a story that illuminates their relationship from so many different angles.

You really should have a sweet tooth for this. There's not much up and down. It's more about a wonderfully fluffy universe. In which there is a lot of cake. And biscuits. And don't forget the tea. To compliment the biscuits.
